Local athletes named to All-CIF, league teams

A number of players from area schools were named this week to the All-CIF by county sports writers and coaches under the auspices of the San Diego Hall of Champions. All-league teams are selected by the coaches.

Boy’s Soccer:

All-CIF First Team: Blake Bussey, TPHS; Josh Cintas, CCHS. Second Team: Sean Cahllahan, San Diego Jewish Academy.

All Avocado League Player of the Year: Bussey. First Team: Bussey, Colin McAtee, TPHS. Second Team: Brett Sampierre, TPHS.

All-Citrus West League Player of the Year: Sean Callahan, SDJA. First Team: Callahan, Sam Freeman, Jorge Adler, Carolos Michan, Josh Losner, all SDJA. Second Team: Yosef Mizrachi, David Guegen, Brad Tradonsky, Irving Stone, Bruno Garcia, all SDJA.

All-Coastal League North First Team: Austin Knoth, SFC. Second Team: Courtney Field, Matt Bennett, Nathan Ching, all SFC.

All-Coastal League South: Zach Dansaert, Brian Doyle, Kyle Fleming, all Canyon Crest Academy. Second Team: James Stafford, Tyler Baron, CCA.

All Western League First Team: Cintas, Nick Mancinelli, Jacob Holt, all CCHS. Second Team: Dylan Stafford, Colin Maehler, CCHS.
